ALINA KUZNEVYCH is an international hairstylist, haircut specialist, educator, author of professional methodologies, and judge at international beauty competitions. With more than ten years of professional experience, she has developed a career that spans precision and geometric haircutting, professional education, original technique development, and participation in major fashion projects in New York, Miami, and Paris.

In 2026, another significant international achievement was added to her professional record: Alina Kuznevych became the winner of the VUGA TV Award 2026 in the category Best Hairstylist (Fashion). The award recognized her professional contribution specifically to fashion hairstyling - a field in which technical precision must work together with an understanding of clothing, movement, the model, and the overall visual concept of a runway presentation.

Alina’s professional foundation was built through specialized education. In 2015, she graduated from the Academy of Hairdressing Art named after Volodymyr Novohatskyi, and in 2021 she continued her professional training at the Alexander Popkov Academy in Kyiv. Over time, this classical professional background became the basis for developing her own systematic approach to shape, volume, and the architecture of hair.

One of the central areas of her specialization is precision and geometric haircutting. In her work, Alina applies the principles of geometry, proportion, balance, distribution, direction, elevation, and three-dimensional form. For her, a haircut is not simply a reduction of length, but a constructed structure in which every element influences the final silhouette. This desire to systematize professional knowledge led her to create original techniques and methodologies.

Alina is the creator of the Root Slicing technique, developed as an original professional approach to hairdressing and presented in industry materials as part of her contribution to innovation in the field. Another important area of her work is The Architecture of Blowout, an original professional methodology based on a systematic approach to blowout styling through structure, direction, volume, movement, and final form. This methodology was later developed into her professional book, The Architecture of Blowout.

For Kuznevych, education became a natural extension of professional practice. She is interested not only in creating a finished look, but also in explaining why a particular technique works, how form is constructed, and how a professional can control the final visual result. From 2020 to 2023, she also developed the educational program “Hairdresser in 10 Days,” combining practical training with a structured approach to professional education. Alina’s work began receiving professional recognition well before her international fashion projects. In 2019, she was named Best Stylist of the Year at a regional professional beauty competition and received the Wedding Hairstyling Excellence Award.

In 2020, she became the winner of Fashion Battle in the Evening Styles category.

In 2021, Kuznevych received several professional distinctions, including Best Creative Hairstylist at the Successful Ladies Awards, laureate status at the International Successful Ladies Awards, the Trend Haircut Award - Professional Aesthetics, and the Creative Innovation Award. A new stage of international recognition followed in 2025, when she became the winner of the IBFA Beauty Award in the category Best International Hairstylist Innovator. In July 2026, Alina also received the Best Beauty Education Innovator award at the Eurasian Beauty Awards 2026, highlighting another important part of her professional career - education and the transfer of professional methodology to other specialists. Alongside her educational and authorship work, Alina has continued to develop an active career within the fashion industry.

In November 2024, she worked as Lead Hairstylist at Florida Men’s Fashion Week. In February 2025, she continued her international runway work in New York as Lead Hairstylist at New York Fashion Week, Ethereal Show. In spring 2025, she returned to Florida Men’s Fashion Week in Miami, and in September of the same year she worked as part of the Good Look USA Team at FDLA / New York Fashion Week. Another Florida Men’s Fashion Week project followed in November 2025. In 2026, her professional geography expanded to Paris, where she participated in the Hair Look Development Team for a Paris Fashion / Haute Couture Project. Another important project was Unique Fashion Show New York, held on September 13, 2026, during New York Fashion Week. Alina Kuznevych participated in the project as a professional hair stylist, working on the preparation of hair looks for fashion presentations and runway models. Backstage work during fashion week requires a very different level of discipline from regular studio practice. A hairstylist must work quickly, maintain technical precision under strict time constraints, coordinate with models, designers, makeup teams, and production staff, and at the same time remain consistent with the visual concept of the collection.

This international runway experience has allowed Alina to connect her technical approach to hair with a broader understanding of fashion aesthetics. At the same time, her professional activity extends beyond hairstyling itself. Kuznevych is regularly invited to serve as an expert and competition judge. In 2023, she joined the jury of the International Successful Ladies Awards and became a member of the expert council of the Best for Beauty Awards. In 2025, Alina served as a judge at the World Beauty Championship “WBC XV” in the Everyday Styling category, later joined the jury of the World Beauty Championship “WBC XVI,” and in November of the same year evaluated participants at the Baltic Beauty Global Beauty Cup in Latvia. These invitations reflect an important evolution in her professional role: from a specialist presenting her own work in competitions to an expert trusted to evaluate the work of other professionals.

Today, the professional profile of ALINA KUZNEVYCH brings together several areas of expertise: Precision Haircutting, Geometric Haircutting, Advanced Haircut Design, Blowout Architecture, Professional Styling, Editorial & Runway Hairstyling, Bridal & Evening Styling, Professional Education, Curriculum Development, Original Technique Development, International Competition Judging, and Beauty Industry Expertise. A separate area of her professional practice includes work with cryotechnology in hairdressing and its application within modern professional beauty practice. Winning the VUGA TV Award 2026 in the category Best Hairstylist (Fashion) became a natural continuation of this professional journey. It brought together the areas Kuznevych has been developing for many years: technical mastery, fashion-industry experience, original methodologies, international work, education, and professional expertise.

Today, Alina Kuznevych continues to work at the intersection of craftsmanship and methodology. For her, the final image is important, but equally important is understanding how it is constructed, why it works, and how professional experience can be transformed into a system that other specialists can use. Perhaps it is this combination of practical mastery, an original professional approach, and a willingness to share knowledge that has become one of the defining features of her career.
